You can easily add incoming or outgoing emails from your personal inbox as a note to a contact in Smart.pr.

All you have to do is forward the email from your personal inbox (for incoming mail) or Bcc it (for outgoing mail) to the special Smart.pr inbound email address. You can find the email address by opening Notes on any contact in your address book. The special inbound email address often looks like this: companyname123@notes.smart.pr.

When you forward an incoming email to this address, the system checks the source of the original message. If this contact occurs in your Smart.pr contact list, the mail will automatically be linked to this contact and appear between the notes in your address book.

If there is no contact associated with the email address from the forwarded email, a new contact will automatically be created. This contact can be found in the middle column, and in the list Inbound Email Contacts.

The system also provides a solution for outgoing mail: Adding the inbound email address in the "Bcc" will assign your outgoing mail as a note to the contact who you've sent the email to. The contact to which you send the original email, will not see any of this.Ā
