User Settings

You can change your own user data yourself in Smart.pr. By clicking on your name at the top right of your screen and then choosing the option "User settings", it is possible to adjust the settings of your user account.

The information shown in this menu is your user account information: your name, email address, username, password and language settings for the tags in the Journalist database. Click on 'Save' to save changes. Changes are implemented immediately and can always be adjusted.

Username and password

You use your username and password to log in. The email address you enter in this menu is the email address at which you will receive notifications from Smart.pr, e.g. messages from the support chat or product updates.

Two-Factor Authentication

In Smart.pr you can use Two Factor Authentication (2FA). When you enable this, in addition to entering a username and password, you will need a second factor to log in. You can read more about 2FA in this article.

Language preference

In the user settings menu it is possible to set your preferred language. The language you've select is the language in which the tags in the Journalist Database are displayed. The content of the database does not change, only the language of the tags / filters changes.

Notifications
Smart.pr gives you real-time notifications when your press release is opened, and when a link is clicked. If you prefer to disable these notifications, you can do this in the user settings menu.
