This article explains what you can do if you haven't authenticated all sending domains in your account yet, and how you can pass on information about domain authentication to your IT colleagues. Are you looking for more information on domain authentication and why this is important? Read this article.
Where can I find my sending domains?
Click on your name in the upper right corner to open the main menu. Here you'll find Manage sending domains.
Cleaning up your sending domains
It is possible that you have domains in Smart.pr that you are no longer using. Make sure to delete any senders with that domain in the Manage senders menu, and then delete the domain in the Manage sending domains menu
Authenticating sending domains
Do you see a domain that you still need to authenticate? Follow the steps in the menu. Click on 'Authenticate this domain' to start the process.
Do you still need to verify your domain? Do this first by clicking on 'Verify this domain'. You can easily do this yourself, read more about it in this article. You can continue with authentication after verification.
By starting the authentication, you can generate the DNS records needed by your colleagues or the domain administrator. Copy the records to forward them.

Pay attention: these records are examples, and not the records that need to be added to your domain's DNS. To get the needed records, follow the wizard as described in this guide.
Forwarding the information
You can use our email template (see the button) to forward the information. Download the template and paste the records in the email. You can also add the domain name. Forward this message directly to your IT colleagues or the domain administrator.
Validating the authentication in Smart.pr
Have you received confirmation that the records have been added, or did you add them yourself? Go back to Smart.pr and click 'Validate' in the screen above. If you can see green checkmarks, your domain has successfully been authenticated.
Error message
Do you see an error message in the form of a red cross? Double check with the domain administrator if the records have been copied exactly, including punctuation. Try to validate the authentication again once the changes have been made. Are you still seeing an error message? Contact our support team.
