In some cases, you send a press release from a certain domain, while you prefer to receive the reactions to the press release at a different email address. For example, consider the following situations:
Internal security conditions do not allow you to authenticate the domain you want to receive replies on
You want to use a domain that is already in use in another Smart.pr account
In such situations, it is possible to set up a reply-to address. This allows you to manually provide an email address where the responses to your press release will be sent to, even if the press release was sent from a different domain.
How do I set up a reply-to address?
If you want to set up a reply-to email address, please contact your account manager. We will then enable the functionality in your account. From then on, you can draft your mailing as you're used to, but in the 'Edit your mailing' menu you will see the option 'Use a different reply email address' under the Sender. Here you can enter the email address on which you want to receive the replies to your press release. Make sure this email address is entered correctly, otherwise the replies will be lost.
