Drag-and-drop
The PRO Editor works in a slightly different way than the Classic Editor and is a so-called 'drag-and-drop editor'. This means that you build your press release by "dragging" structure and content blocks into the desired place. These blocks are always displayed on the right side of the editor.
Rows
To build a mailing, you first need to determine how many columns your mailing should consist of. You can choose from a number of different formats. You can find the available formats under the "Rows" tab on the right side of the editor. Select the desired layout by grasping the "row" (hold the mouse down) and releasing it when hovering over the desired position in your press release.
Content
The next step is to fill out the "rows" with "content". The type of content block you select determines what type of specific content you can add to the press release.
To add content to your press release, grab the desired content block by clicking and holding the mouse down. Then drag and drop the content block to the correct position in your press release. You can only add a content block within a "Row". The layout of the Row itself determines the maximum width of your content block. Under the tab "Content", you can find all possible types of content:
Title: add a title block
Paragraph: add a text block with extensive formatting options
List: add a numbered or bullet list
Image: add an image or GIF and edit it directly in the editor
Button: add a button to your press release: for example to a link, download or "mailto:" (RSVP)
Divider: add a divider to your press release
Spacer: add extra white space between different content blocks
Social: add social media icons
Dynamic content: add attachments
Video: add a link to a YouTube or Vimeo video
Icons: add custom icons
Do you want to add text in the PRO Editor? Then you first drag a desired row into the editor and then choose 'paragraph' as content. It is also possible to use image(s); buttons; dividers; add socials and videos. The settings for a specific content type appear as soon as you click on the content in the right column in the editor.
The video below shows how to add a paragraph as content and how you can format the text in different ways.
