In this article you can read how you can add text in the PRO Editor. Please note: the 'Text' block is currently being fased out, so we advise not to use it anymore.
PRO Editor
The PRO Editor is a so-called "row-editor". By adding in different rows, you can quickly and easily design your press release. The rows can be added using the 'rows' button in the right column of the PRO Editor. You can then fill the rows with different content blocks.
How do you add text in the PRO Editor?
If you want to paste text in the PRO Editor, we advise you to paste this text without formatting. This way, any underlying formatting from another text editing program is prevented from being taken over and possibly disrupting the final formatting of your press release. Paste the text via "paste without formatting"/ctrl+shift+v (Windows) or "modify paste style"/command+shift+v (Apple) in the PRO Editor.
There are three different content blocks for text: Title, Paragraph and List
Title
You use this block for the title/header of your press release.
Paragraph
You use this block to add your regular text. The paragraph block replaces the earlier 'Text' block.
List
You use this block to add lists of text. Both numbered and bullet lists are supported.
Formatting
You can set the formatting of the text in each content block in the right column. The formatting you set in the right column applies to all text in the selected block. This means that it is not possible to use different fonts or font sizes within one block. Do you want to use a different font or font size? Then add a new block.
One font
Do you want to use the same font throughout your press release? Then set this font by going to settings menu in the right column and choosing the font as default font (see the screenshot below). Then, in your press release, choose global font in the contentblocks (see the first line in the screenshot above). By setting up your text in this way, you can easily change the font of your entire press release.
Using the toolbar, which appears when you select a part of the text in the text block, you can set the formatting that will only apply to the selected piece of text.
