How do you add text to your press release?

Geschreven door Rutger

Insert

By hovering over the text with your mouse, a button with a plus sign will appear in the left bottom. If you click this plus sign, a toolbar will appear wherein you can add blocks of text, (sub)titles, images and attachments. To insert text, click add text block (the paragraph icon). A white text field will appear in the press release in which you can type or paste your text.

Edit text

When you select part (or all) of the text, a toolbar appears that lets you edit your content. Available options include bold, italic, and underline.

You can also add a hyperlink using Link, or create lists using Numbered list or Bullet list.

Do you want to paste an image into a text block? You can split text easily by placing your mouse in the desired position and pressing the split block-button. Between these two blocks you can now place a new block for the image.

In the Content panel on the right, you can use the three alignment icons to align your text left, center, or right.

Justified text is not supported in Smart.pr. We intentionally disable this option because it can produce unpredictable results. This helps ensure your press release displays correctly on desktop, tablet, and mobile regardless of which email client the recipient uses.

Move

Like other blocks, the text blocks can also be moved up or down. Do you prefer an image above the text block rather than below, or do you want to insert an additional paragraph? You can easily move the blocks by using the arrows to the right of the block. You can remove any blocks with the trash icon. You can create as many of these blocks as you wish.

Images and attachments

It is also possible to add images and attachments to your press release. The linked articles explain exactly how to add images and attachments.
