Insert
Hover over the text. A plus (+) button will appear on the left. Click it to open the toolbar. From this toolbar, you can add text blocks, (sub)headings, images, and attachments.
Add an image
In the toolbar, click Image.
Click Choose file.
The File Manager will open.
If the image isn’t in the File Manager yet, upload it first.
Once the image appears in the File Manager, select it.
Click Insert.
The image will then be added to the press release automatically.
It is possible to add multiple images in the text of the press release. However, keep in mind that the maximum size for adding an image is 10MB.
Most common image file types are allowed, file types other than images are not allowed.
In the attachments you can add larger file formats, see the article "How do you add an attachment (eg PDF, image or video) to your press release?"
Resize
The maximum size for an image is 10 MB. Large images are automatically resized to the maximum size so that they do not fall out of the box. If your image is too large, you can resize it using a tool like Photoshop or Paint. If you don't have a resizing tool available, you can also try https://pixlr.com/editor/. It is furthermore possible to add an image larger than 10mb as an attachment. For example, you can send high-resolution images so that your recipients can download them.
You can resize an image by clicking on it. In the Content panel on the right, you’ll find the Custom width slider. Use this slider to adjust the image’s width.
Note
If the image is smaller than the maximum display width, you won’t be able to enlarge it any further. This prevents the image from becoming pixelated.
The maximum image width in a press release is 535 pixels.
You can also align the image. The alignment options (left, center, or right) are shown in the Content panel on the right, above the Custom width slider.
Move it
Just like the other blocks, the image block can also be moved upwards and downwards. Do you want to place the image above the text instead of below the text, or do you want to insert an additional paragraph? The blocks are easy to move up or down using the arrows to the right of the block. Blocks can be removed by using the trash icon. You can create as many blocks as you wish.
Redirect the image to a webpage
After you upload an image, you’ll see a field in the Content panel on the right labeled “Link image to…”. This allows you to link the image to an online file or webpage.
Copy the URL of the page you want to link to and paste it into the field. Once the URL is entered, click anywhere outside the image to apply the link.
When recipients click the image, they will be redirected to the linked file or webpage.
