Insert
When hovering over the text with the mouse, a plus icon will appear on the lower left of the testblock. If you click this button, a toolbar will appear with which you can add blocks of text, (sub)titles, images and attachments. To place an image in the text, click Image and then choose Pick image from disk. Search for the right image and click open. The selected image will automatically appear in the press release.
It is possible to add multiple images in the text of the press release. However, keep in mind that the maximum size for adding an image is 10MB.
Most common image file types are allowed, file types other than images are not allowed.
In the attachments you can add larger file formats, see the article "How do you add an attachment (eg PDF, image or video) to your press release?"
Resize
The maximum size for an image is 10 MB. Large images are automatically resized to the maximum size so that they do not fall out of the box. If your image is too large, you can resize it using a tool like Photoshop or Paint. If you don't have a resizing tool available, you can also try https://pixlr.com/editor/. It is furthermore possible to add an image larger than 10mb as an attachment. For example, you can send high-resolution images so that your recipients can download them.
You can also make the image smaller and larger by clicking on the three dots on the right of your image. Is the image smaller than the maximum size? Then it is not possible to make it larger. This way we prevent it from becoming pixelated. The width of the image that ends up in the press release is 535 pixels wide.
The image can also be aligned. The alignment options (left, right, or center) appear in the blue bar at the top of your press release when you click on an image.
Move it
Just like the other blocks, the image block can also be moved upwards and downwards. Do you want to place the image above the text instead of below the text, or do you want to insert an additional paragraph? The blocks are easy to move up or down using the arrows to the right of the block. Blocks can be removed by using the trash icon. You can create as many blocks as you wish.
Redirect the image to a webpage
After you have uploaded an image, a field with the text 'Link this image to..' will appear above the image. This allows you to direct the image to an online file or webpage. Copy the page's URL and paste it into the field. Once the link is in the box, click away from the image to save.
Your recipient will now be linked to this online file or webpage if the image is clicked on.
