When you insert an image in the text, it is automatically adjusted to the width of your message. This way, the layout won't get distorted and the mailing won't get too heavy. Do you want to give your recipients the possibility to download the image at full size? This is possible by linking the image in your press release to the same image in the attachments. This way you give your recipients the option to download the image at high resolution, without having to place it in your mailing in full size.
How does this work?
Step 1. Insert as an attachment
By hovering over the text with the mouse, a plus sign will appear in the left bottom. If you click it, a toolbar will appear wherein you can add blocks of text, (sub)titles, images and attachments. To add an attachment to the text, press Attachment. You can now add an (online) attachment by pasting the URL into the field or by uploading your file (PDF, image, Youtube/Vimeo video) from your computer by clicking Or pick file from disk. Then search for the right file and click open. The attachment will automatically appear in the press release.
Step 2. Insert as an image
Once again click on the plus icon. To place an image in the text, click Image and choose for Pick image from disk. Search for the right image, and click open. The image will automatically appear in the press release.
Step 3. Link attachment to image
By adding your image as an attachment, it is placed on our server. Next, add the image as described above. Click on the attachment with the right mouse button and choose Copy link address. You can paste this link in the field at the top of your screen; in the same way you insert a URL. When the recipient clicks on your image, he or she will be directed to the original attachment. Optionally, you can delete the attachment again.
