When you insert an image in the text, it is automatically adjusted to the width of your message. This way, the layout won't get distorted and the mailing won't get too heavy. Do you want to give your recipients the possibility to download the image at full size? This is possible by linking the image in your press release to the same image in the attachments. This way you give your recipients the option to download the image at high resolution, without having to place it in your mailing in full size.
How does this work?
Step 1. Insert as an attachment
Hover over the text. A plus (+) button will appear on the left. Click it to open the toolbar. From this toolbar, you can add text blocks, (sub)headings, images, and attachments.
Add an attachment
In the toolbar, click the paperclip icon (Attachment).
The File Manager will open.
Upload your file from your computer (if it isn’t already in the File Manager).
Find the correct file in the File Manager.
Select the file and click Insert.
The attachment will then be added to the press release automatically.
Step 2. Insert as an image
Hover over the text. A plus (+) button will appear on the left. Click it to open the toolbar. From this toolbar, you can add text blocks, (sub)headings, images, and attachments.
Add an image
In the toolbar, click Image.
Click Choose file.
The File Manager will open.
If the image isn’t in the File Manager yet, upload it first.
Once the image appears in the File Manager, select it.
Click Insert.
The image will then be added to the press release automatically.
Step 3. Link attachment to image
First, add your image as an attachment. This uploads the file to our server. Then insert the image into your press release as described above
Next, right-click the attachment and select Copy link address. Click the image you want to link, then go to the Content panel on the right. In the URL field, paste the link address just like you would when adding any other URL.
When recipients click the image, they will be redirected to the original attachment. If needed, you can remove the attachment afterwards.
